The Soweto and Lion Park Tour offers informative and fun-filled day to enjoy nature, culture and history in one day. Lion Park also offers an amazing photographic opportunity to capture wildlife pictures. The park has more than 85 lions and other carnivores like hyenas, cheetahs and wild dogs. We start the tour in the morning with a Soweto guided tour and finish with the Lion Park Tour.

Soweto and Lion Park Tour Itinerary

Tour Starts

• Pick up at hotel or arranged point.
• Stop at Soccer City Stadium for photos.
• Drive past Baragwanath Hospital and Orlando Towers.
• Visit Mandela House Museum for a full guided tour.
• Drive through the famous Vilakazi Street.
• Visit Hector Pieterson Museum and stop for about 45 minutes to an hour to visit the museum.
• Depart Soweto and drive for 45 minutes to an hour to the Lion Park.
• Stop for lunch at the Lion Park; you can choose a restaurant of your choice for a meal.
• After lunch we get onto a Safari vehicle for an hour long drive with a safari guide.
• The tour will be guided by a professional game ranger from the Lion Park.
• After the game drive you will have time to browse or shop at various curio shops at the park.
• Depart to your drop off point having enjoyed a mix of culture, history and wildlife.
